New Patients

We always welcome new patients and since our humble beginnings we have treated countless patients. If you are scheduled for your first appointment or if you are considering visiting us soon then there are a few things you should know.

After Hours

We subscribe to the National Home Doctor Service Telephone: 13SICK (13 7425) for those clients that need to see a doctor and find the surgery closed.

Appointments

To schedule an appointment with a Doctor please contact the clinic and a receptionist will negotiate a time with you. Please inform the receptionist if you require an extra long appointment e.g. you may have more than one issue to be treated. Also, let the receptionist know if you are bringing someone else along to see the doctor with you so that the receptionist can allocate an adequate time slot.

Home Visits

Our Doctors are happy to visit you at home if you are too sick to come to the surgery. It is recommended to call the surgery as early as possible so that we can schedule one of our doctors to see you in their lunch break, or some other time during the business hours.

Fees

Pensioners and Children under 16 years old are Bulk-Billed, Health Care Card Holders charge is $20.00 out of pocket and all others $30.00 out of pocket.

For all home visits the out of pocket expense to the patient is $60.00.

Emergencies

Urgent medical problems will always be dealt with promptly. However, we do encourage you to assess whether going directly to the hospital would be the best option to avoid wasting valuable time when only the hospital may be equipped to treat that particular emergency.
